Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
  • 2 cups (454 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups (600 g) granulated sugar
  • 7 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3½ cups cake flour, sifted
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan.
  2. Beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and fluffy, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until light and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract and sour cream until fully incorporated.
  6. Whisk together the cake flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 85–95 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
