Ingredients
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1/2 lb lump crab meat
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted bread (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in cooked shrimp, lump crab meat, chopped spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden, bubbly, and hot throughout.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, toasted bread, or crackers.
Tips & Variations
- No shrimp? Use only crab or substitute canned tuna or cooked salmon.
- Make it spicy: Add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes to the mix.
- Make ahead: Prepare the dip and refrigerate for up to 1 day. Bake just before serving.
Storage
- Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in oven or microwave.
- Freezer: Not recommended due to the dairy and seafood texture change.
