Ingredients
Pound Cake:
- 1½ cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1½ cups sugar
- 3 eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture in batches, alternating with sour cream. Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze: Mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
