Ingredients
- 1½ lbs chicken tenders
- 8–10 slices bacon, cut in half
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper for heat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Wrap each chicken tender with a half slice of bacon and place seam-side down on the rack.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne if using.
- Generously sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over each wrapped chicken tender.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
