Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and add sliced mushrooms. Cook until browned and softened, about 4–5 minutes.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute, then stir in honey and soy sauce. Let it bubble for a minute.
- Return chicken to the pan, coating it in the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to warm everything through.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

- Pair with steamed broccoli or green beans for a complete meal.
