Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable or sesame oil
- 3 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: green onions or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cabbage and carrots. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
- Return chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch slurry.
- Stir well and cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
