Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 2 (3 oz) boxes strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, sealing all edges. Chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Let cool until slightly thickened, then stir in sliced strawberries.
  7. Pour strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
