Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 2 (3 oz) boxes strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, sealing all edges. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Let cool until slightly thickened, then stir in sliced strawberries.
- Pour strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Storage Tips
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze, as the gelatin texture may change.
