Ingredients
Coleslaw
- 1 (14-ounce) bag three-color coleslaw mix
- 1 large apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
Honey Ginger Dressing
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Salad
Place the coleslaw mix, chopped apple, dried cranberries, walnuts, and sliced green onions into a large serving bowl. - Mix the Dressing
Whisk together the mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream, honey, ground ginger, salt, and pepper until smooth. - Combine
Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mixture and gently toss until everything is evenly coated. - Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor. - Serve
Stir once before serving and garnish with extra walnuts, cranberries, or apple slices if desired.
Lighter Dressing Option
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Tips
