Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1½ cups apple pie filling, store-bought or homemade
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup caramel sauce, optional for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a small circle.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of apple pie filling in the center of each piece of dough.
- Bring the edges of the dough together around the filling and pinch firmly to seal.
- Place each bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops and sides with melted butter.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over each Apple Pie Bomb.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool for about 5 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Tips
- Chop large pieces of apple filling into smaller chunks for easier sealing.
- Do not overfill the biscuits or the filling may leak while baking.
- Pinch the dough tightly to keep the filling inside.
