Ingredients
- 1½ pounds ground beef or thinly sliced steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1½ cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6–8 slices provolone cheese
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Cook until softened, about 6–8 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Remove vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
- Add beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Combine beef with the cooked vegetables.
