- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans (toasted)
Instructions

- In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Whisk in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy and combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in chopped toasted pecans, saving a few to sprinkle on top.
- Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top. Sprinkle with remaining pecans.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy!
Pro Tips
- For extra fudgy brownies, underbake by 1–2 minutes and cool fully before cutting.
- Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top before baking for contrast.
- Swap pecans for walnuts or almonds if preferred.
