Ingredients
Biscuit Dough
- 2 cups biscuit mix (e.g., Bisquick or Cheddar Bay biscuit mix)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup milk
Crab Filling
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Lemon Butter Topping
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix all crab filling ingredients until well combined. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, shredded cheddar, and milk to form a soft dough.
- Divide dough into 10 portions. Flatten each into a disk, add 1 tablespoon of crab filling in the center, and pinch edges to seal.
- Place stuffed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, mix melted butter with garlic powder, parsley, and lemon zest.
- Brush hot biscuits with lemon butter as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve warm!
